The International Shariah Research Academy for Islamic Finance (ISRA) has once again won the ‘Best Islamic Research Firm’ Award in the Islamic Finance News ‘IFN Best Service Providers’ Poll 2014. The IFN Service Providers Poll is recognised as the leading poll in the Islamic financial services industry. Throughout the month of July, IFN conducted its 10th annual IFN Service Providers Poll amongst its readers. A record-breaking number of votes were cast, of which 62% voted for ISRA in the category it is in. Interestingly enough, ISRA garnered the highest number of winning votes in any of the categories.

This is the 3rd award of excellence bestowed on ISRA since its inception 6 years ago, recognizing ISRA’s extensive research in the Islamic finance industry. On a personal level, the Award reaffirms what a small organisation can do when it thinks big and commits to being the best organisation it can be. Upon receiving the news of the latest achievement, Prof. Dr. Mohamad Akram Laldin said, “We at ISRA are very proud of this recognition and would like to take the opportunity to thank all who have supported us in our research and consultancy work. We also thank Bank Negara Malaysia for their endless support.”

This award is indeed another impressive milestone for ISRA.
